My name is Amedea, I’m an Italian teacher, Italian interpreter, Italian translator and Italian voiceover artist based in Manchester.
I'm from Turin Italy, but I love Manchester. I love the people, the sense of humour, the city, but I hate the rain!
Having lived in the UK for many years I have a strong understanding and command of the English language, with all its subtleties, local expressions, irony and colloquialism. This is a huge advantage in my work as it helps me to explain and be better understood in my teaching, interpreting and translation.
I run a range of fun Italian classes in Manchester and also provide individual Italian tuition if you would like a more individual learning experience. I also provide Italian translation, interpreting and voice-over services and have worked with a diverse group of clients from Manchester Tourist Information Centre to Jet2 to the Supreme Court of New Jersey. One thing I love about language work and teaching others to learn Italian, it's never boring!
I also love being creative, and started a new Etsy shop in 2022 to share my digital art designs, which are inspired by Italy - the places, culture and art.
