BBC Languages Learn Italian

Buongiorno a tutti,

My students in Chorlton and Didsbury are so passionate about learning Italian that they’re always asking for interactive ways to practice their Italian.

Everybody works long hours nowadays and I always say to my students: “It’s always better to practice your Italian everyday for 15min than just once before your next Italian lesson” so Italian cds you can listen to on your way to work or videos and online programs are a good way to keep practicing your Italian everyday.

I like the BBC Languages website: It has a lot of FREE online Italian language learning material La Mappa

BBC Italian Language

Each episode allows you to put subtitles and has Interactive tabs that will allow you to replay the audio and see the words.

The Italian actors speak at their usual pace, which may sound fast and unclear to a beginner, but you have the opportunity to replay and, eventually, develop the skill to understand them. This will stand you in good stead when you interact with native Italian speakers

Who says you’re too old to learn a new language? Who says studying Italian isn’t fun?

What’s on in Didsbury? New Italian for Beginners class 8th October 19:30-20:30 – Didsbury. Please use the Contact tab to book your place.

Each Italian language class is small and fun. People come to my language classes looking forward to them rather than dreading them.. like students often do in a large classroom at a local College. I believe that you learn faster in small groups and if you’re relaxed you’re more likely to absorb new information.
