Italian language classes Manchester: Conversations at Florence Airport

Buongiorno a tutti! At Learn Italian Manchester I try to ensure my italian language classes are fun and interactive. Most of my students have joined an Italian for beginners class because they are planning a Summer holiday in Italy in 2013 or they just love Italian as a second language. For some learning Italian is a life long ambition and I want my language classes to be practical rather than packed with Italian grammar. Practising to speak Italian in a small group and discuss holiday scenarios in my opinion is a more effective way of learning and let’s face it: It’s fun!

So today I’m going to share one of my students Diane who loves loves loves Florence (Firenze) and this is the dialogue she created to take herself from Florence Peretola Airport to Florence city centre. You’ll agree that for somebody who’s studied italian 1 hour per week for 8 weeks. It’s fantastic!

Diane é all’ aeroporto di Firenze Peretola.

Allora,l’ autostazione e la biglietteria (another way to say Ticket office) e’ a destra

Grazie signore!

Prego.

Buongiorno.

Grazie signore. Arriverderci.

Brava Diane!
