This dialogue is straight out of Channel 4 rom com film. I teach Italian for beginners in Didsbury Manchester and can’t take responsibility for my students vision of how their holiday in Sardinia should unfold. Picture this: Handsome Dolce & Gabbana model with yacht invites my three students to a party on board of his yacht.. sipping Bellini cocktails! Who said Italian evening classes are boring??

Barista: Ciao belle ragazze! Desiderano?
Holly: Desideriamo dei cocktails. Vorrei vedere una lista per favore
Barista: Si, ecco. Festeggiate?
Laura: Si, il mio compleanno!
Holly: Io vorrei un bellini con fragole
Barista: Buona scelta!
Laura: Vorrei la stessa cosa
Gabriella: Vorrei un bellini con la pesca
Barista: Sedetevi. Ve li porto subito. Quindici euro in tutto
Entra Stefano nel bar..
Stefano: Ciao ragazze! Posso offrirvi un altro cocktail?
Holly: No, tre bicchieri di champagne per favore!
Stefano: Mi chiamo Stefano, ho uno yacht e sono modello per Dolce e Gabbana. Questa sera faccio una festa a bordo del mio yacht. Volete venire?
Laura, Holly e Gabriella: Perché no? E a che ora?
Stefano: Alle otto
Holly: Come ci vestiamo?
Stefano: Smart/elegante e portate un bikini
Laura: Cosa portiamo da bere?
Stefano: Niente, c’é un bar a bordo!
Laura, Holly e Gabriella: Grazie, ciao, a dopo!
