Ciao a tutti, I always get asked to list useful words to add to your italian vocabulary and why I never talk about menswear . Here they are:
La giacca tweed, la camicia e il farfallino – the tweed jacket, the shirt and bow tie (first 2 words are feminine and last one is masculine)
Gli occhiali neri – black glasses (masculine word)
I guanti di pelle – leather gloves (masculine word)
L’orologio da tasca e il gilet – the pocket watch and waistcoat (both masculine words)
La bombetta – the bowler hat (feminine word) not sure why we think it’s a little bomb??
