My name is Amedea, I’m an Italian teacher, Italian interpreter, Italian translator and Italian voiceover artist based in Manchester.

I am a member of the North West Translator’s Network, the NW branch of the Institute of Translators and Interpreters (ITI).

I love Manchester. I love the people, the sense of humour, the city, but I hate the rain!

Having lived in the UK for many years I have a strong understanding and command of the English language, with all its subtleties, local expressions, irony and colloquialism. This is a huge advantage in my work as it helps me to explain and be better understood in my teaching, interpreting and translation.

I run a range of fun Italian classes in Manchester and also provide individual Italian tuition if you would like a more individual learning experience. I also provide Italian translation, interpreting and voice-over services and have worked with a diverse group of clients from Manchester Tourist Information Centre to Jet2 to the Supreme Court of New Jersey. One thing I love about language work and teaching others to learn Italian, it’s never boring!

Do get in touch if you have any queries or think I can help you in any way. Best wishes and ciao a tutti!
