Well I had to blog about it. Half of my husband’s family are avid Manchester City Fans and it makes me so proud to see the Italian flag, we call it Tricolore been paraded and worn with pride at such a special occasion like yesterday when Manchester City wins the English Premier League title! For those who don’t live in Manchester who read my blog, I can tell you, Manchester went really really quiet from 3pm onwards yeasterday ha ha! The Daily Mail writes:
Craziest day ever! At 90 minutes, Man City’s title dreams looked dead… but TWO goals in injury time snatch title from United
The Guardian paper says: The victory parade begins in Albert Square at 6.30pm on Monday. Which is just about the same time, coincidentally, Manchester United’s players will be sitting down for their end‑of-season awards dinner. On one side of town, one of the biggest street parties the city has ever known. On the other, fixed smiles and heavy hearts as the soup is served and they try to block out what is happening a mile or so away.
How handsome is Mancini hey? And like the rest of us Italians he’s not afraid to show his emotions:
