• Italian proverb of the day

How do you say: You can’t judge a book by its cover in Italian:

In Italian this proverb is translated as: L’abito no fa il monaco. It literally means “the robe doesn’t make you a monk”.

God knows why we talk about Monks to say “don’t be judgemental!”….

    Ciao!
